Empowering You to Higher Health
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a natural way of treating the body to restore health and function. It's primary goal is reducing stress on the nervous system by addressing the joints of the spine and where there may be a lack of proper motion affecting the spinal nerves at that level. Applying a gentle and specific adjustment to that spinal segment will restore the proper motion thus allowing the optimal function of the nervous system and the body to heal naturally.
What is Applied Kinesiology?
Applied Kinesiology is a way of assessing the body for more specific neurological dysfunctions. It utilizes manual muscle testing to identify specific muscles that are not properly functioning and determining where in the body a problem is originating from or why they are not activating properly. Dr. Brunner utilizes this technique in adjunct with Chiropractic to create a more holistic care plan addressing all of the problems contributing to your symptoms.
What Can Chiropractic Help With?
Chiropractic is about restoring the body to a natural state of function and balance. It is widely known to help with back pain, neck pain, and headaches, but it is also able to help with the healing of many other health issues such as shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, hip, knee, ankle, and foot pain. When you come in, Dr. Brunner performs a thorough assessment to determine the exact cause of your pain and tailors care to treat the cause of your pain.
How many visits will it take?
This is different for everyone. What we typically see is corrective chiropractic care works better with more treatments closer together so your care will often look like 2-3 visits a week for 2 weeks followed by a re-examination to assess your progress. Visits will decrease in frequency as you progress and become more stable. Everything is designed to get you better as soon as possible and to stay better. We like to make it a team effort and give you exercises and tips on how to properly move to prevent re-injuries!
